Master of Arts in Sport Administration

The MA in Sport Administration is a 36-credit-hour program for people who want to lead in sports, fitness and recreation. You’ll take courses in key areas like:

  • Sport Psychology & Coaching
  • Recreation, Leisure & Tourism
  • Health, Wellness & Fitness Administration
  • Sport Governance & Intercollegiate Athletics
  • Promotion, Leadership & Facility Management

 

You’ll finish the program with a thesis or a capstone project, which can include an internship. Classes are mostly in person, with some hybrid options to give you more flexibility and hands-on learning.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Undergraduate GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • Successful completion of a basic statistics course with a B or better
  • Application fee of $55 (Domestic) or $60 (International)
  • Official transcripts submitted to The Graduate School
