Many international students are often caught off guard by how expensive and complicated the US healthcare system can be.
Our video presentation, Intro to U.S. Healthcare, will provide you with key information when accessing care and how to save on medical bills.
DMV Link for State ID application
General Requirements:
The State ID card is issued by the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles. This card does not allow an individual to drive a car in the U.S. but may only be
used as a form of identification.
International students and scholars should take the following documents to the DMV
when applying for the state ID:
- Passport
- Visa stamp
- Most recent Form I-94 (download from the CBP website)
- Proof of residency in North Carolina
- Fee of $14
