The UNC Pembroke football team will lock horns with North Greenville on Saturday in the inaugural Conference Carolinas Bowl, marking a historic milestone as the league sponsors football for the first time in 51 years. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Younts Stadium in Tigerville, S.C.

All UNCP students, faculty, and staff who show a valid UNCP ID at the gate will receive free admission.

The Braves (8-2, 5-1 CC) enter the matchup following a bye week but carry momentum from their 34-17 victory over Barton on November 1. North Greenville (6-4, 4-2 CC) earned its bowl berth after edging Shorter 35-33 in its final regular-season contest on November 8. Saturday’s clash will also serve as a rematch—North Greenville defeated UNCP 20-7 earlier this season on October 18 in Tigerville.

Fans can catch the action live on the Conference Carolinas Digital Network, though this year’s championship coverage will be available through a pay-per-view format. Live statistics will also be provided through SIDEARM Sports.

On the field, the Braves are averaging 32.8 points per game and 432.7 yards of total offense, while holding opponents to just 16.4 points and 295.2 yards per game. The Trailblazers of North Greenville averages 27.8 points and 403.1 yards per game, with opponents managing 23.7 points and 187.4 yards of offense.

The winner will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.

Those planning to attend should note that Younts Stadium enforces a clear bag policy, and only approved clear bags will be permitted inside. Tickets are available for advance purchase online and can also be purchased at the stadium ticket booth on the day of the game.

Students are invited to travel alongside the Braves football team and show their school spirit at the Conference Carolinas Championship Game. The official UNCP Fan Bus will provide round-trip transportation to North Greenville University, giving Braves fans the chance to ride together, bond before kickoff and fill the stands in support of the team.

Space is limited, so students are encouraged to RSVP early to reserve a seat. All riders must wear UNCP gear and bring their official UNCP Brave ID for the trip.

The UNCP Fan Bus will depart from the Chavis Student Center parking lot at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and return at 8:30 p.m.
