The Timeless Charlie Brown Classic Comes to Life on the GPAC Stage

Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and Sally are coming to the Givens Performing Arts Center (GPAC) at UNC Pembroke on Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the holidays and the anniversary of the 1965 CBS animated TV special.
A Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Emmy Award-winning CBS animated special with a live production, including a three-piece band performing Vince Guaraldi’s popular Peanuts music score.
Tickets for adults start at $39 and children’s tickets are available for $20.
Charles Schulz’s Peanuts gang learn the true meaning of Christmas in this live stage musical adaptation. True to the comic strip, reviews call the show “amazing,” “heart-warming” and “engaging.” Broadway World calls it “a warm holiday tonic.”

The concert experience also includes a celebration of holiday music as the Peanuts gang sings traditional Christmas songs and carols.
