The 2006 Art Department Faculty & Staff Exhibition will be on display August 17 through September 15

The University of North Carolina Pembroke's A.D. Gallery will open the 2026-27 academic year with its biennial Art Department Faculty & Staff Exhibition, showcasing the creative work of UNCP's distinguished faculty and staff artists.

The exhibition will be on view August 17 through September 15, in the A.D. Gallery, located in Locklear Hall on the UNCP campus. A public reception will be held on Wednesday, August 26, from noon to 2 p.m., offering visitors the opportunity to meet the artists and engage with their work.

Featuring a wide range of artistic disciplines, the exhibition highlights the breadth and diversity of creative practice within the department. Works on display include painting, drawing, installation, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics and digital media, reflecting both traditional and contemporary approaches.

Exhibiting Artists: Adam Walls, Brandon Sanderson, Carla Rokes, Jessica Dupuis, John Rhodes-Pruitt, Joseph Begnaud, Naomi Lifschitz-Grant, Paul Van Zandt, Robert Epps, Samuel Speir and Terence O'Daly

The biennial exhibition not only celebrates the artistic accomplishments of UNCP faculty and staff but also underscores the department's commitment to fostering a dynamic and innovative creative environment for students and the broader community.
