UNC Pembroke’s Bachelor of Science in Accounting prepares you for success in public, corporate or government accounting. Through focused coursework, you will build the skills needed for entry-level roles across a variety of industries. You will also be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in North Carolina or continue your education in graduate school to expand your career opportunities even further.

Get a broad understanding of all areas in accounting, including auditing, financial reporting and management. This track prepares you for a wide range of careers in accounting and finance. It’s also a strong foundation if you want to pursue further studies in accounting.
Minor in Accounting
No matter your major, an accounting minor adds value. This flexible program gives
you a strong foundation in financial principles that apply to every field. You will
take courses in financial and managerial accounting, intermediate accounting and two
electives that match your interests. Whether you're planning a career in business,
healthcare, the arts or public service, this minor helps you understand and manage
financial information with confidence.
