Leaders in Business
A Chartered Financial Analyst Institute
UNC Pembroke’s Thomas College of Business & Economics is proud to be recognized by the CFA Institute — joining a select group of universities worldwide aligned with the highest standards in the finance profession.
Our Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance is part of the CFA Institute University Recognition Program — a distinction that means our curriculum covers at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK). This gives you a strong foundation for the CFA exams and prepares you for careers in investment, portfolio management and financial analysis.
As part of this recognition, UNCP receives three CFA student scholarships each year and participates in the prestigious CFA Institute Research Challenge — giving you hands-on experience and a competitive edge in the global financial market.
