Support Us

The Taley & Jordan Hunt Braves Resource Center at UNC Pembroke is seeking your support as we continue our mission to end hunger in our community. We are a nonprofit food pantry for UNCP students, faculty and staff. Since opening in 2013, we have worked hard to help uplift and empower our community.

Ways to Help

The following are ways that we would love to have your support:

Adopt a shelf at the Braves Resource Center to ensure students have greater access to necessary nutritional meals. Sponsors will provide donated materials periodically or a continuous monetary donation to the Braves Resource Center. All sponsors are recognized within the Braves Resource Center.

We accept food and monetary donations.  For every $1 donated, the Braves Resource Center can provide 9 meals to students, staff, faculty and community. All donations directly benefit the operations of the Braves Resource Center and programs focused on helping students overcome obstacles that may prevent success and persistence towards graduation.

To donate:

  • Food donations can be dropped off at the Braves Resource Center during regular operating hours or by scheduling a donation drop-off by contacting the Braves Resource Center staff at brc@uncp.edu or 910.775.4367.
  • Provide monetary support through our online donation platform. Each dollar raised will go towards purchasing more food and supplies.  After you have made your gift, consider amplifying your contribution by sharing our cause on your social media. Help us spread the message so that no one at UNC Pembroke will go without. All donations are tax-deductible.
